From Boise, Idaho:
Hwy 55 North to Cascade
East on Warm Lake Hwy to Landmark (33 miles)
Here pavement ends & road makes a "Y",
Bear right on Forest Service Rd. 579, 15 miles to Deadwood Lodge.

Hwy 55 North to Banks.
Turn East on Hwy 17 (Banks-Lowman Rd) to Lowman.
Turn left on 21 & immediately left on F.S. Rd. 582.
Go 23 miles, then left on F.S. Rd. 563 for 7 miles to F.S. Rd. 579.
Turn left to mile marker #30 (approx. 11 miles)
and Deadwood Lodge on the right

East on Hwy 17 (Banks-Lowman Rd.)
13 miles out of Garden Valley, turn left on F.S. Rd. 555 over Scott Mtn.
Go past Deadwood Reservoir to F.S. Rd. 579 & Deadwood Lodge.
From Stanley
Take Stanley-Lowman Rd. (Highway 21) to F.S. Rd. 579 approx. 22 miles from Stanley.
Follow F.S. Rd. 579 for 30 miles to Deadwood Lodge.
United, Southwest, Alaska/Horizon and America West Airlines serve Boise, Idaho. Once there, you can rent a car and drive the approximately 140 scenic miles or, for a minimal fee, we will be happy to meet your flight.
If you fly your own private plane, you can fly into Cascade, Idaho. There is a great little airport there with all the services. Convenient Forest Service landing strips are Landmark, Bruce Meadows, & Deadwood Reservoir. We can provide pick-up service at any of these locations.
