Deadwood Outfitters offers access to fantastic fishing and fly fishing on Deadwood River, walking distance from our Idaho Fishing Lodge, Deadwood Reservoir, Cascade Lake, many miles of mountain streams, and numerous smaller high mountain lakes. Deadwood Outfitters lodge and rustic cabins is located in Southwestern Idaho, 90 air miles north of Boise and is operated on Boise National Forest and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness land by permit.
Many lakes accessed by foot or horse offers both beginning and experienced fly fishing enthusiasts' access to some of the best fishing waters Idaho has to offer. Deadwood Reservoir Fishing - located 50 miles SE of Cascade Idaho and 8 miles from Deadwood Lodge
- Deadwood Reservoir located is a 3,000 acre reservoir located high in the mountains of the Boise National Forest. Anglers enjoy fishing for Atlantic salmon, Chinook salmon, Kokanee salmon, Cutthroat Trout, Cut Bows and Rainbow Trout.
Deadwood River - located just 50 yards from the lodge, you can't get much better than that for a relaxing fishing trip!
Cascade Lake Fishing - located in Valley County, Idaho just 75 miles north of Boise, Idaho.
- Cascade Lake (Cascade Reservoir) is the fourth largest lake in Idaho. Anglers experience the thrill of reeling in fish both by shore and boat on nearly 30,000 surface acres of water. Fishing with Deadwood Outfitters on Cascade Lake you may reel in from a large variety of fish including Catfish, Coho Salmon, Crappie, Kokanee Salmon, Perch, Rainbow Trout, Small Mouth Bass, and Tiger Muskie. Bring your camera as you may want to photograph bald eagles, pelicans, sand hill cranes, and trumpeter swans.
Middle Fork and South Fork Payette River Fishing
- Wild rainbow trout is among the many fish caught on the South fork of the Payette River.
High Mountain Lakes and Streams Fishing - Since 1969 our family owned and operated fishing guides have been successfully guiding anglers to the best fishing streams and pristine high mountain lakes including Bernard Lake and Sheepherder Lake which are accessible by horse and foot.

Fishing licenses are required for anyone 14 and over. Idaho fishing on streams and rivers is according to fishing season and fishing on the mountain lakes is open year around!
